EXPERIENCE

 

12/1992 - Present     Data Scientist, Software Architect, Project Manager, Software Developer, Systems Engineer, Network Administrator. Worked with major corporations. Implemented Solutions for several industries, including: Telecommunications, Business, Corporate, Financial, Manufacturing and Healthcare Enterprise Systems using Visual Basic, SQL Server, ODBC, among other technologies.

 

Experience working within regulatory requirements, such as ISO9000. Provided Customers with Solutions for their Legacy Systems.

Assisted in the implementation of new Client/Server systems. Trained people in Microsoft technologies. Worked with Legacy computer systems to produce corporate reports. Analyzed existing computer systems and proposed an implementation based on client server systems.

Responsible for the project management, initial effort of the design, budget, management, presentation and implementation of new computer systems. This implementation resulted in considerable savings and increased performance.

 

Leader of a Team of 8 computer experts in several areas: computer networking, database administration and development, and ASP.NET technologies. Created a GUI interface for a complex Point Of Sale System for a major corporation saving thousands of dollars in consulting fees and increasing the efficiency of the POS system.

 

Conducted classes for the school in Computer Technology including Microsoft Access, Excel, business and other computer science classes as required. Produced Student IDs and other office tasks as required by the school. Provided support and tutoring to students in the computer lab.

 

Responsible for coordinating the computer hardware and software support of a 500,000 sq. ft. distribution center that functions as a distribution hub for the Auto parts industry.

Participated in the development of a major implementation of IBM AS/400s, IBM mainframes and IBM personal computers. Responsible for creating and maintaining flawless data driven applications on a forth generation IBM computer language multiplatform; Cross System Product. This nationwide development effort improved the company revenues substantially and increased the overall performance of the corporate computer systems. Participated in leadership roles and worked until the successful implementation of this development effort.

Completed the implementation of an interface between mainframes computers, servers and laptop computers for the professional sales representatives to interact with customers using a quota-based system. The successful completion of this system improved the efficient exchange of real time data between the professional sales representatives and headquarters.
